Debates

In last night's debate the gay marriage issue was addressed- and surprise surprise! Kerry doesn't support gay marriage either!

His line about giving gay couples equal rights under the law is the same one used by Bush when the gay marriage issue came up earlier this year.

Now, I'm not telling you who to vote for- I'm not particularly enthusiastic about either candidate.

But if you're voting for Kerry because you think it's a step forward for gay rights, think again.

It's a shame that not one major candidate will "come out" (haha-good one, Sarah) in favor of gay marriage.

And what was with the matching polka-dotted tie thing?

My favorite part of the debate last night....

Kerry: Bush said that he doesn't think about Osama Bin Laden anymore.

Bush: I never said that! If I did it was an "exaggeration".

Wow. What an amazing lie. Of course he said he doesn't think about Bin Laden anymore, back in 2002. "And, again, I don't know where he is. I -- I'll repeat what I said. I truly am not that concerned about him."

Slow clap.
