The Devil Kissed Her: The Story of Mary Lamb. Biography of a manic-depressive children's author who stabbed her mother to death. Can't go wrong with something like that.
The Egyptologist turned out to be pretty cool, even though the "surprise" ending was evident after the first few chapters. It was not ALL I wanted it to be, but still good.
Wow, I so need to borrow that first one. I haven't had any good morbid reads lately. The locust book is good but I was reading it during lunch the other day and they talked about all the frontier diseases and worms that people got and lets just say the other half of my bagel was not enjoyed.
So that book to you was like your Key Lime Pie was to Jeff, good, but NOT ALL HE WANTED IT TO BE. Oh wait I am sorry he thought your pie tasted like shit! Then again how could you blame him!
Just listened to brilliant recording of The Egyptologist (14 discs) by Recorded Books INC....now would someone PLEASE explain who was who and who killed whom? I got lost.....Thanks. Pat
